End of year, school's out. Hurrah!!!!!!
At long last we have arrived at the summer break. The year ended with a wonderful barbecue. We wondered if we would ever eat when the weather broke with a thunderstorm and torrential rain. The barbecue was being cooked at ground level and water threatened to damp down the heat of the fire. The men who were cooking were also busy sweeping away water. Here is a video. The noise is the rain on the tin roof.

Every year we have a "cabaret," usually given by members of staff. This year Profe Florencia recited one of his amusing poems in guarani with Profe Pable translating into Spanish.
Finally we all received a gift for Christmas. This year we received a boxed, brightly coloured towel each....... very useful for our holidays!
