No rest for the wicked, at least not yet!

So teachers only work a few hours per day and they have ultra long holidays..... Not true here in Paraguay. In the holidays we carry on working for a couple of weeks and we return two weeks before the children. There are reports to be finished and the Paraguayans have what seem like a million little boxes to fill in for the Ministry of Education to finally drive them completely mad. (I'm pleased to be British at this point!) There is lots of tidying up to be done and then the preparation for the following year starts. This year we are also having some in-service training. On top of all that there is the Bicentenary of Paraguayan Independence to celebrate next year so we are going to plan something special for that, along with the rest of the country. I haven't heard yet that we are going to celebrate the wedding of the year. That pales into insignificance.

Here we are up to our eyes in paperwork and preparation.

Don't talk to me!!! Don't let me lose count or lose my place.
Some need comfort food by way of Pan dulce (cake), with chocolate milk and terere herbal drink to wash it all down. Yuk!!!.
